I was not sure what to expect on the TMB in terms of opportunities for serious photography. The nature of the trip dictated that you have to take the shots when you can rather than waiting with a mindset of "I'll get that shot tomorrow" while waiting for good lighting or other conditions. That combined with the compromise of not having a real tripod or good lenses made it a bit difficult to really get my "photo time" in. Nonetheless there were a couple really good opportunities with early morning / late evening lighting and very scenic viewpoints during the day so I just used F8 a lot and made the most of it.
