The sunrises have been incredible the last few days with about 3 or 4 minutes of really intense color at the horizon. While waiting to get on the interstate to head to work, I saw a group of about 40 or 50 birds flying around. Unfortunately I was only able to get 1 shot before the light turned green and of course I missed most of the birds. But the idea I had worked out pretty good for getting the wings in motion... I'll have to try this again sometime when I'm not in a big line of cars.
Got home tonight from a trip to Half-Price Books only to find the power out and Ryan setting candles up amid the beeps of 4 or 5 UPSes going off. So tonight we have a firelight picture of the day...
Guest photographer... Ryan. Hard as it is to believe, the "g" does not stand for guitar but rather Gina (it is her purse). What I thought was cool is this is not a photoshopped picture... he did the motion blur with the camera.
