Today we headed to Bath Spa England. It was a 90 minute train ride from Paddington station. The big attraction in Bath is one of the few (it might be the only, I can't recall for sure) working Roman bath. Contrary to the weather forecast, it was a perfect day.
This is the Bath Abbey, a church with some very interesting sculptures on the outside. If you look closely, you can see ladders with people climbing up them carved into the front facade.
Here is the Abbey from the side. We did not go inside as they charged (like everything in England) and we had already been in plenty of churches.
