It was just about sunset by the time we got home and it looked like it would be a great sunset. I wanted to try getting a picture from a hilltop near their house so we walked along some farm roads and passed these cows that were more interested in us (or Missy who was probably very confused by these gigantic black and white animals whose fur looked just like hers) than we were in them. The kids going "moooo" probably did not help.
The path parallels a nature preserve that harbors many deer. We counted 54 on this hillside alone.
From the top of the hill, the view of the sun setting over the German hillsides was fantastic.
