Of course the kids wanted to stay up and watch movies all night.
We got up bright and early (at least early... I know I did not feel real "bright" as there was a helicopter that seemed to run all night pretty close to the base hotel). We piled in the van and headed off to Munich, about 90 minutes away. The kids that said "we won't be tired tomorrow if you let us watch one more movie", immediately fell asleep.
Munich was unlike anything we had yet seen in Germany. It is a big city and the majority of it looks fairly new, no doubt because most of it had to be rebuilt after world war II. We parked outside a small plaza with a car dealership that sold very expensive cars. Here Kyle is standing next to a Lamborghini Diablo that had a sticker price of just under $300,000.
