Gina just hung out while the kids were playing. This was her type of trip... eating out almost every night. Now if they just had those afternoon soaps.
We headed off to the remains of a small castle called Michelsburg that was adjacent to a small church. This was taken on the path that leads to the church.
This was the view from an overlook near the church. You can get a feel for how the villages are these small collections of houses (probably fewer than 100 in most that we saw). Villages are separated by green fields and result in an incredible rolling landscape of vineyards, hay fields, and villages dotting hillsides as far as you can see.
