Bryce Point is quite a bit higher than the other overlooks. Of course that means more elevation to go down and then back up on the trail. *** The trail only has 800 feet of elevation change... what they don't tell you is that you make that change about 6 times over the length of the trail as you wonder over ridges of hoodoos and then down into the valley below.
There was still snow around at this elevation. Some areas were a foot thick still.
It looks like a giant sand castle.
