I got up 5:30 and drove to the East entrance to try and find some good morning light shots (while everyone else slept).
We had one big activity planned for today- hiking to Angel's Landing. A 5 mile roundtrip hike with a 1488 foot elevation gain. The last .5 miles is along the ridge of a cliff and has sections where there are 1500 foot sheer walls, on both sides of a pretty narrow path. There are chains to hold on to (more accurately, death-grip onto).
