By the morning of our departure, the 30-50 mph winds (with gusts to 60+) had just about stripped the trees. It was supposed to rain all day so we had planned some semi-indoor activities, the first being a tour of the Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory.
Gina's thought - "It does not get much better than this... a gift shop in an ice cream factory"!
The tour was interesting... I was surprised at how small the production floor was. Only 20 or so people total and just two production lines. However they turn out 100,000 (I think) pints of ice cream a day. *** And of course what kind of ice cream factor tour would end without some samples ;-)
